Lucknow Super Giants are running on a thin line in the tournament and have somehow managed to win 2 out of the 3 matches they have played. Giants as a batting unit are becoming reliable for the bowlers. Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda have provided a safe cover in the middle overs, while KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock are playing well at the top. Their top-order is failing in Tata IPL 2022, and Delhi has been unsuccessful in the powerplay. The form and fitness of Prithvi Shaw is a big worry for the team management.
However, with David Warner and Anrich Nortje available to play in LSG vs DC encounter, Delhi Capitals might just tick all the boxes. Warner’s presence at the top can help them set the platform for the middle-order, while Nortje will lead the pace attack of Delhi Capitals against Lucknow Super Giants.
