    Here are the top 10 highest scores in the history of the IPL:

    1) Chris Gayle – 175* (RCB vs PWI, Bengaluru, 23 April 2013)

    This knock is not just the highest score in IPL history but the highest in T20 cricket. The Universe Boss showed his prowess as he scored 175* off just 66 balls, including 13 fours and 17 sixes.

    2) Brendon McCullum – 158* (KKR vs RCB, Bengaluru, 18 April 2008)

    This innings will forever be etched in the memory of cricket fans worldwide. In the inaugural IPL match, McCullum announced his arrival in style as he scored a blistering 158* off just 73 balls, hitting 10 fours and 13 sixes.

    3) Quinton de Kock – 140* (LSG vs KKR, DY Patil, 18 May 2022)

    The South African wicketkeeper-batsman has always been a reliable performer in T20 cricket, and his 140* off 70 balls for Super Giants against KKR was a testament to his abilities.

    The South African maestro features again on this list, this time for his 129* off 52 balls against the Gujarat Lions, where he hit 10 sixes and 12 fours.

    7) Chris Gayle – 128* (RCB vs DD, Delhi, 17 May 2012)

    The former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain is known for his explosive batting, and his 126 off 59 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders was no exception, as he hit 10 fours and 8 sixes.

    The Indian cricketing legend’s innings of 122 off just 58 balls, including 12 fours and 8 sixes, for Kings XI Punjab against the Chennai Super Kings is worth mentioning as an honorable mention.

    It’s no surprise that Chris Gayle tops the list with his incredible knock of 175* in 2013.
