RCB will be playing their first match of IPL 2023 on 2nd April against Mumbai Indians at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Star RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj could be rested for a few matches to manage his workload for the WTC 2023 Final and the Cricket World Cup which will be played later this year.

1. Avinash Singh
Avinash Singh has pace similar to Umran Malik. The bowler can bowl consistently with the speed of 145 kmph which makes him a huge asset for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Avinash can take Siraj’s place in the playing 11 if he is rested and could prove to be one of the biggest finds of IPL 2023.

2. Akash Deep
Akash Deep played a few matches for RCB in IPL 2022. The bowler can prove to be one of the best replacements for Mohammed Siraj as he can bowl at different phases of the game and can hit accurate lengths. Moreover, he can bat too as evidenced by his 18-ball unbeaten 53 in Bengal vs. Jharkhand’s Ranji Cup match from the previous season.

3. Rajan Kumar
Rajan Kumar set the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022 on fire with his staggering exhibitions. He featured in seven matches and took 10 wickets at a brilliant economy of 5.88. Rajan carried on his great work in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 and got six scalps in five matches at an economy of 4.39.
IPL 2023 is set to begin on 31 March 2023 with a clash between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad.
