Here are 3 fast bowlers who can showcase their talent in IPL 2023 by becoming a surprise package:

1. Yash Thakur (Lucknow Super Giants)

Yash Thakur was picked by Lucknow Super Giants at INR 45 lakhs in the auction. The bowler impressed everyone in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2022-23 with his sheer pace, accuracy and ability to swing the ball both ways.

The 24-year-old also has the ability to bowl at the death, making him a rare talent. In 10 matches SMAT matches, the youngster picked up 15 wickets at a miserly economy rate of 7.17.

2. Mukesh Kumar (Delhi Capitals)

Mukesh Kumar was bought by Delhi Capitals for a whopping bid of ₹5.5 crores in IPL 2023 Auction. He is one of the rarest players to be selected for the Indian Cricket Team even before making his IPL debut. 

Mukesh Kumar recently impressed in the 2nd Unofficial Test between India A and Bangladesh A, picking up 6 for 40 in the first innings.

3. Joshua Little (Gujarat Titans)

Joshua Little became the first Irish cricketer to secure an IPL contract after being picked by Gujarat Titans for INR 4.4 crores. In T20 World Cup 2022, Josh picked up 11 wickets in 6 games. Moreover, the Irishman picked up the most wickets (39) in T20Is in 2022.

Joshua Little came to limelight after he picked a hat-trick against the star-studded New Zealand side in the T20 World Cup last year. 

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will be starting from March 31 and the last league match will be played on May 21. Defending Champions Gujarat Titans will be facing Chennai Super Kings in the opening encounter.
