IPL 2023: 3 players who can lead Mumbai Indians in absence of Rohit Sharma

Here are 3 players who could lead Mumbai Indians if Rohit misses a few games:

1. Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav is the front-runner to take over MI’s captaincy if Rohit misses a few games as he is not a senior player of the team and has done very well at the international level. Recently, SKY was also picked as the vice-captain of the Indian Cricket Team.

2. Ishan Kishan

Ishan Kishan has been an important member of the Mumbai Indians for a few years now and he is someone whom the management really believes in. Kishan earlier led India to the ICC U-19 World Cup final in 2016, making him one of the strongest contenders to lead the Mumbai Indians.
