Rishabh Pant suffered an unfortunate accident while driving to his home just before the New Year. He is expected to miss at least one to two years of cricketing action. Pant was supposed to captain Delhi Capitals in IPL 2023, but now David Warner is going to lead the side in his absence. He may also miss the IPL 2024, and therefore, Delhi Capitals need to find a replacement for Rishabh Pant.
IPL 2023: 3 Wicketkeeper Batters who can Replace Rishabh Pant for Delhi Capitals
1- Luvinth Sisodia
Sisodia was a member of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad in IPL 2022, but he went unclaimed in the 2023 auction. He, like Pant, is a left-handed batter who likes to take charge from the first pitch. He is only 22 years old and has played 15 T20s for Karnataka, where he has a strike rate of 127.83.

2- Dinesh Bana
At the IPL 2023 auction, the player who scored the winning runs for India U19 in the World Cup last year went unsold. Bana had no takers in the auction despite practising with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) last season. Given that the Delhi franchise is in need of a lower-order batter, Bana could be a good fit.
3- Sheldon Jackson
Sheldon Jackson of Saurashtra is the most well-known possible replacement among the three. He is a fantastic wicketkeeper with a wealth of domestic experience. Last season, he impressed MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar with his wicket-keeping abilities for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). However, his poor bat form is one factor that could jeopardise his chances of joining DC.
