On Sunday, April 2, the 5th match of IPL 2023 will take place at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, where Royal Challengers Bangalore (BGR) will face off against Mumbai Indians (MUM).
The first match for Mumbai Indians might see the absence of their regular captain Rohit Sharma due to an illness. As per reports, the Indian opener has fallen sick and may not play. In such a scenario, Suryakumar Yadav might take over the leadership duties.
Both the teams have many superstars in their squad and the fans are expecting a blockbuster match between the star-stunned Sunrisers Hyderabad and power-packed Rajasthan Royals. However, few key players from both BGR and MUM will miss the match 5 of the tournament due to national commitments and injuries.
