Mumbai Indians, who have won the title five times in the IPL, have included England all-rounder Chris Jordan in their team. Jordan will join the team as a replacement player. Jordan was not bought by any team in the IPL auction this time. As the current season of IPL has reached its second phase, Jordan’s fate is open. He has got a chance to join a big team like Mumbai.

Right now the franchise has not told which player he has been selected as a replacement. Jordan has previously played for four IPL franchises. He was in the team of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2016. After that he was with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017-18. Punjab Kings kept Jordan with them in 2020-21. At the same time, he was in the four-time champion Chennai Super Kings in 2022.

Talking about Jordan’s IPL career, he made his debut for RCB on May 7, 2016 against Rising Pune Super Giants. At the same time, the last match was played on 17 April 2022 for Chennai Super Kings against Gujarat Titans. Jordan has taken 27 wickets in 28 matches. Jordan has given runs at an economy rate of 9.32.

Mumbai’s performance this season has not been anything special. The side has been able to win only three matches out of seven. Mumbai has six points and is at the ninth position. Mumbai’s next match is against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday only. This will be the 1000th match of IPL.
