Key Battles to Look Forward During the Clash between Chennai and Mumbai in IPL 2023

The match 49 of IPL 2023 between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium on Saturday, 6 May promises to be an exciting contest. Chennai is on the third position in the points table, while Mumbai is on the sixth position.

Both teams have played ten and nine matches in this season. Chennai has won 15 games, while Mumbai has won 20 games so far in the head to head encounters.

1) Tilak Verma vs Tushar Deshpande

Devon Conway, the hard-hitting batsman from Chennai Super Kings, has been in tremendous form this season. He has been dominating the opposing bowlers in every match he has played. But in the upcoming match against Mumbai, Conway needs to watch out for Piyush Chawla, who is in excellent form this season and can pose a threat to Conway’s wicket.

3) Tim David vs Ravindra Jadeja
