    Mumbai Indians’ batting coach Kieron Pollard has recently commented on Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni’s large fan base across India. Despite Dhoni’s recent performance being below his usual standards, he remains an iconic figure in Indian cricket, with a massive following.

    The two powerhouse teams of the IPL, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, are set to face off in an eagerly anticipated match at Wankhede Stadium on April 8th. Although both teams struggled in the 2022 season, they have a history of bouncing back quickly and are expected to put up a formidable fight for the title.

    Kieron Pollard made an interesting comparison between MS Dhoni and former Indian and Mumbai Indians legend Sachin Tendulkar. He highlighted the similarities between the two icons in terms of their ability to attract a home crowd and home support wherever they played.

    Dhoni has already retired from international play, and it is widely speculated that the 2023 IPL season will be his final one. With his massive fan base and iconic status, Dhoni is expected to draw a packed house wherever the Super Kings play this season.
