The wicket of Virat Kohli in RCB’s last match against KKR was the turning point of the game that fell into KKR’s favor as KKR went on to win the match by a huge margin of 81 runs. However, a new controversy has arrived regarding that match which many of you may not have heard till now– Was Sunil Narine’s bowling action legal on that delivery?
This doubt was brought to light by one of RCB’s passionate followers ‘Pradyoth’ on Twitter through a clip, where a slow-mo breakdown of Sunil Narine’s action and release following the delivery stride seems to suggest that Sunil Narine did chuck his way to the Virat Kohli dismissal.
In the clip, which was quoted to an official clip posted over IPL’s own Twitter handle, one can see that Narine seems to have bent his bowling arm to more than the legally allowed range of 15 degrees to find skid on his off-break.
