Ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season, Delhi Capitals’ Director of Cricket Sourav Ganguly has expressed his confidence in young top-order batter Prithvi Shaw’s readiness to play for the Indian National team. While Shaw has had previous experience with the national team, he has yet to establish a regular position in the side. Ganguly believes that Shaw’s potential is now at a level where he is ready to represent India, but acknowledges that it ultimately depends on available slots in the team. The former BCCI Chairman is confident that the national team’s selectors, along with Rohit Sharma, are keeping a close eye on Shaw’s progress.
