IPL 2023 | GT vs DC: Matthew Wade to Replace Injured Kane Williamson in Gujarat Titans’ Playing XI against Delhi Capitals

Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals: Defending Champions Set to Dominate in today’s IPL Clash

Gujarat Titans are set to face Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 clash on Tuesday. With their star player Kane Williamson ruled out for the season due to a knee injury, the Titans have to rejig their squad. Defending champions GT had a perfect start to their campaign, winning the season opener against Chennai Super Kings. But they will face a tough challenge against Delhi Capitals, who are determined to shed their underachievers’ tag.

The Gujarat Titans have one of the strongest squads in the tournament, featuring a line-up of power-hitters and talented all-rounders. Shubhman Gill, who played a match-winning knock of 63 in the opener, will lead the batting department, alongside Sai Sudharsan, Abhinav Manohar, Vijay Shankar, and David Miller. Skipper Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Odean Smith are among the all-rounders who will provide the team with the necessary firepower.

The bowling unit, which was effective against CSK, boasts a mix of experienced and young talents. Mohammed Shami, Alzarri Joseph, Shivam Mavi, Pradeep Sangwan, Josh Little, and Yash Dayal are all good seam bowling options. Meanwhile, David Miller will be available for selection after concluding his national duties with South Africa.
