Harbhajan Singh, former Indian cricketer, has heaped praise on Rajasthan Royals opener Jos Buttler, calling him the “No. 1 batter in world cricket at the moment” and describing him as a “proper batter of the cricket ball.” Harbhajan Singh was all praises for Buttler after his splendid knock of 52 runs off 36 balls that helped his team clinch a three-run victory against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Buttler currently sits in third place in the orange cap race with 204 runs in 4 innings at an average of 51 and a strike rate of 170.
Singh was in awe of Buttler’s technique and footwork against both pace and spin. He believes that the England white-ball captain has excellent technical attributes that make him a versatile player. Buttler has already smashed three half-centuries in four innings in the IPL 2023.
