The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Gujarat Titans (GT) clashed in a breathtaking encounter during the final league game of IPL 2023. Following GT’s nerve-wracking win, Hardik Pandya, the GT skipper, commended his teammates for their incredible composure and calmness in the high-pressure moments. “The calmness which the boys had was terrific. We wanted to maintain the momentum and keep ticking the balls. Shubman’s cricketing shots are a game-changer. He plays with confidence and sets the tone for the entire team,” said Hardik Pandya.

“While we would have taken 197 at the start, our bowling performance wasn’t up to the mark. Virat played a special innings, but we may have gone for the death overs too early. Nonetheless, I couldn’t ask for more from the team. Last year, everything went smoothly for us, and this season, we expected tougher challenges. The boys have displayed tremendous character,” he added.
