IPL 2023: Harry Brook to Bat at Number 4 for SRH- Reports

Harry Brook can bat number four and Aiden Markram can open for SRH in IPL 2023.

Sunrisers Hyderabad announced that Aiden Markram is going to captain the team in IPL 2023. Aiden Markram used to open the batting for South Africa in limited overs format before he was slotted at number four to accommodate the South African captain Temba Bavuma at the top. However, in IPL 2023, he can again take the opening slot as Sunrisers Hyderabad have as strong middle order.

Sunrisers Hyderbad have batters like Mayank Agarwal, Abhishek Sharma, Glenn Phillips, Harry Brook, Aiden Markram, Heinrich Klaasen and Rahul Tripathi, all of whom can bat at any position from number one to six.

However, Harry Brook traditionally plays in the middle order for England, and he has no experience of opening in T20s. Therefore, he would be most suitable at number four, followed by Abdul Samad at five and Glenn Phillips at number six. Aiden Markram and Mayank Agarwal can open the inning for SRH in IPL 2023, and Rahul Tripathi can bat at number three for SRH.
