IPL 2023: Jason Roy to replace Kane Williamson in Gujarat Titans’ squad- Reports

As per reports, english batsman Jason Roy will replace the kiwi batsman in GT's squad. 

Gujarat Titans star batsman Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the entire tournament of IPL 2023 after he suffered a knee injury while taking a catch in the opening match of IPL 2023 against Chennai Super Kings. While saving a six, Williamson lost his balance and landed awkwardly, hurting his right knee in the process. The New Zealand batter limped off the field in pain and did not bat in that match.

With Kane Williamson being ruled out, the question arises, who will replace him in GT’s squad for IPL 2023. 

As per reports, english batsman Jason Roy will replace the kiwi batsman in GT’s squad. Jason Roy is a man in form and is one of the best available options in the market at present. In recent years, Roy’s game against spin has improved. This will help the franchise do well in this aspect.

Gujarat Titans will be playing their next match on April 4 against Delhi Capitals who lost their opening match against Lucknow Super Giants. The match will be played at the Arun Jaitley stadium, Delhi.
