IPL 2023 | KKR vs RCB: Aakash Chopra predicts RCB victory in their clash against KKR

Former KKR player expects Siraj and Harshal to shine with the ball and batters to dominate powerplay overs in today’s clash between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Cricket enthusiasts and fans of the Indian Premier League (IPL) have been eagerly waiting for the RCB-KKR match scheduled to take place on April 6, 2023, at the iconic Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata. As the anticipation builds up, cricket analyst Aakash Chopra has shared his predictions for the match in a video on his YouTube channel.

Team RCB

According to Chopra, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are the clear favorites to win the match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The RCB team is riding high on their recent eight-wicket win against the Mumbai Indians (MI), while the KKR team is still reeling from their first-game loss against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) by seven runs through the DLS method.

Chopra predicts that RCB will register their second consecutive win in the tournament. He expects the fast bowlers, Mohammed Siraj and Harshal Patel, to strike a few blows with the ball for RCB, along with any other fast bowler who joins the attack, resulting in a total of five wickets.

In addition, Chopra predicts that more than 90 runs will be scored in the powerplay overs, with both sides scoring over 105 runs combined. He also believes that Andre Russell and Glenn Maxwell will hit five or more sixes together, as they are known for their aggressive batting style, and the Eden Gardens stadium is known to be favorable for big hits.

Team KKR

With Chopra’s insights, cricket enthusiasts can expect a thrilling match between RCB and KKR, filled with power-packed performances and fierce competition. It remains to be seen whether Chopra’s predictions will come true, but one thing is for sure – this IPL match is not to be missed.
