IPL 2023: KL Rahul to be Rested in a few matches

Lucknow Super Giants Captain KL Rahul to Take Rest in Select Matches says Reports

The Indian Premier League brings an intense competition that requires players to be at the peak of their physical and mental fitness. With the 16th season of the IPL fast approaching, teams are taking every possible step to ensure that their players remain fit and fresh throughout the tournament.

One such team is the Lucknow Super Giants, who have decided to rest their star batter KL Rahul in a few matches during IPL 2023. The decision has been made to allow Rahul to recover from any minor injuries or niggles that he might pick up during the tournament and also to ensure that he remains fresh for the crucial stages of the competition.

Rahul is one of the most talented batter in the world and has been a consistent performer in the IPL over the last 5 seasons. In the previous season, he scored 616 runs in 14 matches, with a high score of 103 not out, at an average of 62.60 and a strike rate of 129.34. His impressive performances helped the Lucknow Super Giants finish in the top three, but unfortunately they were eliminated in the eliminator game played against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Team LSG

The decision to rest Rahul in a few matches is a smart move by the LSG management, as it will not only help the player recover from any minor injuries but also give the opportunity for other players in the squad to showcase their talent. The IPL is a long and entertaining tournament, and it is important to have a well-rested and fresh squad to compete at the highest level.
