Simon Doull, the former New Zealand cricketer, has praised the consistent performances of Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) Rinku Singh in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2023). Doull has stated that Rinku Singh cannot be regarded as a ‘one-match wonder’ anymore, as he has shown maturity and consistency with his performances.
Doull has highlighted that Singh has been able to prove himself on multiple occasions in this season and has become a reliable finisher for KKR. Singh has been able to display his potential on a consistent basis after flashes of brilliance in the previous season, according to Doull.

Singh played an integral role in KKR’s recent victory over Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In the nail-biting finish, KKR successfully chased down a target of 180 runs, with Singh remaining unbeaten on 21 off 10 balls. In partnership with Andre Russell, Singh contributed to a 54-run partnership for the fifth wicket that was crucial to KKR’s win.
