On Saturday (April 1), at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will face off against the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the third match of the Indian Premier League 2023.
LSG, who had finished third in the last edition with nine victories out of 14 games will be led by the skipper KL Rahul.
DC, on the other hand, finished fifth in the previous season with seven victories out of 14 games. However, their skipper Rishabh Pant has been ruled out for the entire matches of the season, and David Warner will captain the team.

- The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
- Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
- Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
- In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
- Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
- The standings will be updated daily based upon the conclusion of every game.
