Here are three player battles to watch out for during LSG vs GT match:

1) KL Rahul vs Mohammad Shami

During their previous encounter, Mohammad Shami delivered an exceptional ball that dismissed KL Rahul for a golden duck. Rahul has already had two golden ducks and a diamond duck this season, so he will be determined to make an impact in this match. Rahul is a formidable batsman who once he gets going, can keep going until the end. Gujarat will be cautious of his threat, while Shami will aim for an encore against the elegant Rahul.

2) David Miller vs Ravi Bishnoi

David Miller played a crucial role in guiding Gujarat to victory during their last game against LSG. He has been effective, if not spectacular, throughout the season. Except for one game where he failed to finish the game for his side, he has been consistent in his performance. In the game against CSK, Miller singlehandedly took Gujarat over the line. However, he will now face the challenge of Ravi Bishnoi, a diminutive wrist-spinner who will put his skills to the test. This battle is expected to be a great contest.

3) Deepak Hooda vs Rashid Khan

LSG placed a lot of trust in Deepak Hooda by asking him to bat at number 3, and he has made the most of this opportunity. Hooda has been brilliant at number 3, providing excellent support to the openers and batting deep into the innings to set up a base for the finishers. However, he will now have to face the challenge of Rashid Khan, the Afghan magician who is yet to deliver a knockout performance with the ball this season. This match could be the one where he showcases all his tricks.
