On Friday (May 12), at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the Mumbai Indians (MI) will face off against the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League 2023.
Mumbai Indians, who had won their six out of eleven matches against the DC, KKR, RCB, RR, SRH and PBKS will look to accumulate 2 more points in today’s match against the Gujarat Titans. MI holds the fourth position on the points table.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, who had won their eight out of eleven matches against the CSK, DC, PBKS, LSG, MI, KKR, RR and LSG will look to get 2 more points in today’s match against the Mumbai Indians. GT holds first position on the points table.

- The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
- Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
- Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
- In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
- Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
- The standings will be updated daily based upon the conclusion of every game.
