During an interview with Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Pathan expressed his admiration for Green, stating that the five-time IPL champions needed an all-rounder after the departures of Pandya and Pollard, and Green appears to be filling that void. Pathan went on to assert that Green could be a valuable asset for the MI team for a long time to come, and could potentially become the next superstar in world cricket.

The MI team invested a significant sum of money to acquire Green during the IPL 2023 auction, paying a whopping 17.5 Crores for the Australian all-rounder. However, his impressive performances have so far justified his price tag, and he has emerged as a key player in the team’s pursuit of another IPL title.
As the Mumbai Indians take on the Rajasthan Royals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, cricket fans will be eager to see whether Green can continue to perform at the high level that he has demonstrated so far in the IPL 2023 season.
