On Sunday (April 30), at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the Mumbai Indians (MI) will face off against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 42nd match of the Indian Premier League 2023.

MI, who had won their three out of seven matches against the Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad will look to accumulate 2 more points in today’s match against the Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai holds the ninth position on the points table.

RR, on the other hand, who had won their five out of eight matches against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Delhi Capitals, Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will look to get 2 more points in today’s match against the Mumbai Indians. Rajasthan holds second position on the points table.

  • The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
  • Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
  • Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
  • In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
  • Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
  • The standings will be updated daily based upon the conclusion of every game.
