Less than 3 weeks are left for IPL 2023 to begin, but Punjab kings are still uncertain about Jonny Bairstow’s availability in the 16th edition of the IPL and are waiting for medical clearance from the ECB.
On September 2, 2022, Bairstow broke his left leg and dislocated his ankle while playing golf with friends in Yorkshire, suffering multiple fractures in his fibula and also sustaining ligament damage. Since then Bairstow has missed all the cricket England has played.
Bairstow started running for the first time recently, and on February 27 he posted a video of him running to his Instagram page.
