Yashasvi Jaiswal, the Rajasthan Royals opener, has been in a terrific form in IPL 2023, scoring 125 runs in three matches, including two fifties. Jaiswal has been a standout performer in domestic cricket, scoring 315 runs at an average of 45 from five Ranji Trophy games, including a highest score of 162. He also smacked 213 for the Rest of India against Madhya Pradesh in the Irani Cup in early March this year.
Jaiswal also shared his experience of batting alongside England’s white-ball skipper, Jos Buttler. He said that Buttler has been a great influence on him, teaching him the importance of good intent and cricketing shots in the powerplay.
