Mumbai Indians star bowler Jasprit Bumrah is injured due to which he will not be able to take part in IPL 2023. Mumbai Indians has officially announced the replacement of Jasprit Bumrah. MI has roped in Sandeep Warrier as a replacement for Jasprit Bumrah.
Sandeep Warrier has also played in the Indian team. This fast bowler made his T20 debut against Sri Lanka in the year 2021. Although he could not achieve any success in this match, Warrior has taken 217 wickets in 66 First Class matches and 83 wickets in 69 List A matches. He has also been a part of Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL. In the cash rich league, Warrior has taken a total of 2 wickets in 5 matches.

Significantly, apart from Jasprit Bumrah, Mumbai Indians have also suffered a major setback in the form of Jhye Richardson. Richardson was bought by Mumbai Indians in the auction for Rs 1.5 crore, but Richardson got injured during the Big Bash League before IPL, due to which he will no longer be a part of this IPL season.
