Sunrisers Hyderabad coach and cricket legend Brian Lara expressed his admiration for T Natarajan’s impressive recovery after a recent injury. Lara praised the pacer’s consistency and accuracy, hailing him as an important part of SRH’s bowling attack. In their most recent match against the Rajasthan Royals, Natarajan’s outstanding ball handling was particularly impressive. Despite losing the game, Natarajan demonstrated his talent and resilience, bouncing back after conceding 17 runs in the first over to only allow six runs in the following two.
“I was very, very impressed with Natarajan’s comeback. He got hit for runs in the first over, but then came back strongly in his last three overs,” Lara told reporters.

While Hyderabad suffered a 72-run loss to the Rajasthan Royals, Lara pointed out that two flawed power plays were largely to blame for the defeat. Losing both power plays, with the ball in their hands and then with the bats, set them back significantly. However, Lara remained optimistic, saying that it was just the beginning of the tournament and that they would look to bounce back from the loss.
The Rajasthan Royals’ batting team, led by Jos Buttler, Yashaswi Jaiswal, and skipper Sanju Samson, played exceptionally well, allowing them to register an impressive total of 203 runs in 20 overs. Their bowlers were equally brilliant, with Chahal leading the attack with 4 for 17.
