On Sunday (April 2), at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad, the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face off against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the fourth match of the Indian Premier League 2023.

SRH, who had finished on eighth spot in the last edition with six victories out of 14 games will be led by the newly appointed skipper Aiden Markram.

RR, on the other hand, finished on second spot in the last edition with nine victories out of 14 games in the league stage. However, they were miserably failed to win their second IPL title, and emerged as the runner ups of the TATA IPL 2022 edition. This year they will look to finish off what they started, and Sanju Samson will be captain of the team.

  • The upcoming edition of IPL will have two groups: Group A and Group B.
  • Group A will consist of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants.
  • Group B will consist of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
  • In total, there will be 14 matches for each of the 10 teams, consisting of seven home and seven away games. The teams will face the five teams from the opposing group two times each, while they will play against the other four teams from their own group only once.
  • Once the league stage is over, the playoffs will feature the top 4 teams.
  • The standings will be updated daily based upon the conclusion of every game.
