IPL 2023: These Australian Players Could Leave The Tournament In The Middle For The WTC Final

The final match of the World Test Championship 2023 is to be played between India and Australia from 7th June.

WTC Final 2023: The final match of IPL 2023 is to be played on 28 May at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Soon after this, the final match of the second edition of the World Test Championship will be played between India and Australia. This match is to be played between June 7-11 at the Oval Cricket Ground in London. A big news has come out before this match. Many players of a team can leave the current season of IPL in the middle. 

The final match of the World Test Championship 2023 is to be played between India and Australia from 7th June. Earlier it has been reported that Australian players who are part of the WTC final squad may leave the teams and leave for Australia in the midst of the IPL. According to a report, Cricket Australia has left it to the players whether they want to end the tournament or come in the middle.

It was further said in the report that currently only four players who are part of Australia’s WTC final team are playing in the IPL. The chances of Cameron Green and Mitchell Marsh playing in the playoffs are slim. However, David Warner and Josh Hazlewood can work on their batting before leaving for London. Meanwhile, if Chennai Super Kings qualify for the playoffs, then Ben Stokes is also sure to be out of the playoffs.
