The star Sri Lankan bowling all-rounder, Wanindu Hasaranga is known for his leg spin that makes him an ultimate wicket-taker in the T20 cricket. He represents Royal Challengers Bangalore as their ace spinner in the Indian Premier League. However, the latest reports are not quite good for RCB who have already lost Will Jacks due to an unfortunate injury.
Wanindu Hasaranga is selected in the Sri Lankan team which is going to play a series against New Zealand that will last till 5th April 2022. This rules out Wanindu Hasaranga’s participation in the first two games for Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2023.
The huge blow puts RCB in a tough spot as they would have to rely on an inexperienced spinner in the first two matches of the tournament. IPL 2023 kicks off on 31st March 2023 with the away and home format.

Wanindu Hasaranga is expected to join the RCB playing even on 10th April 2023 in the match against Lucknow Super Giants.
