Gujarat Titans defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 34 runs in IPL 2023 Match 62 on Monday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The victory helped GT become the first team to qualify for the playoffs, defeating SRH.

Despite Heinrich Klaasen’s 64-run knock off 44 balls, SRH were restricted to 154/9 in 20 overs while chasing a target of 189 runs. Mohammed Shami and Mohit Sharma were in blistering form for GT, each taking four wickets.
Initially, GT reached 188/9 in 20 overs thanks to Shubman Gill’s century. The GT opener hit 101 runs on 58 balls, including 13 fours and one six. Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan contributed with a crucial 47-run knock off 36 balls.
Gujarat Titans is most likely going to play the first qualifier in the playoffs which is scheduled to be played in Chennai on 23rd May 2023.
