Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in Match 65 of IPL 2023, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Chasing a target of 187 runs, RCB reached 187/2 in 19.2 overs, courtesy of a knock of 100 runs off 63 balls by Virat Kohli. During his knock, the former RCB skipper slammed 12 fours and four sixes. Meanwhile, Faf du Plessis slammed 71 off 47 deliveries, including seven fours and two sixes.

For SRH’s bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan took a wicket each. Initially, SRH reached 186/5 in 20 overs, courtesy of a century by Heinrich Klaasen. The wicketkeeper-batter slammed 104 runs off 51 balls, packed with eight fours and six sixes. Meanwhile, Michael Bracewell bagged two wickets for RCB.
