In preparation for the upcoming Indian Premier League auction in Dubai on December 19, 1,166 players have submitted their registrations. However, with only 77 slots available, including a maximum of 30 for overseas players, the 10 franchises are now tasked with selecting their preferred players from the registered list.
Following the submission of choices by the franchises, a conclusive list of shortlisted players will be disclosed.
According to the registration list, there are 830 Indian players, including 18 capped players, and 336 overseas cricketers.

Among the capped Indians, Harshal Patel, Kedar Jadhav, Shardul Thakur, and Umesh Yadav have set their base price at a maximum of Rs. 2 crore. The remaining 14 players, including Varun Aaron, KS Bharat, Siddarth Kaul, Dhawal Kulkarni, Shivam Mavi, Shahbaz Nadeem, Karun Nair, Manish Pandey, Chetan Sakariya, Mandeep Singh, Barinder Sran, Jaydev Unadkat, Hanuma Vihari, and Sandeep Warrier, will be available at the reserve price of Rs. 50 lakh.
