Royal Challengers Bangalore signed as many as six players in the IPL 2024 auction. In the battle to sign players ahead of the upcoming season of the cash-rich league, RCB went all out to secure Australian skipper Pat Cummins’ services but failed to do so, and he eventually joined Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 20.50 crore.
As an alternate option, RCB splashed out INR 11.50 crore to sign West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Jospeh, who has won two IPL titles with the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans previously. The 27-year-old right arm pacer holds the record for the best bowling figures in IPL history.
