Haris Rauf is probably the most important bowler for Pakistan in the upcoming ODI World Cup, which is scheduled to be played in India from 5 October 2023. The Pakistani pacer is one of the few ones in the world who could easily clock a speed of 150 km/ph.
He is a wicket-taker in the middle overs for Pakistan and bowls extremely good lengths during the last few overs. However, despite that, Pakistan may play without the services of Haris Rauf in the upcoming ODI World Cup.
Rauf did not bowl against India in Asia Cup 2023 due to a side strain, and the latest reports claim that the injury might be more serious than what it was deemed to be. If that happens to be true, then Pakistan is in big trouble as Naseem Shah is also injured and doubtful for World Cup 2023, while Shaheen Shah Afridi is always battling the injuries.

Haris Rauf’s bowling is probably the most important part of the Pakistani pace attack, and the PCB would surely love to get him back to full fitness by using all their resources.
