Ishan Kishan’s three brilliant Ranji Trophy knocks suggest he could be a worthy replacement for Rishabh Pant in the Indian team

From a blistering 120 off 104 balls to a resilient 132 off 195 balls and a mammoth 273 off 336 balls, Kishan's performances showcase his versatility and potential to step into Pant's shoes.

Since Rishabh Pant’s unfortunate car accident in December, cricket experts have been buzzing about whether Ishan Kishan could be the perfect replacement for the hard-hitting left-handed batter in the Indian cricket team.

While Kishan has shown glimpses of his talent on the international stage, his inconsistency has been a cause for concern. However, Kishan’s three impressive knocks in the Ranji Trophy have provided a glimmer of hope that he could be the answer to India’s search for Pant’s successor.
