Born on March 4, 1995, Joshua Patrick Inglis is an Australian cricketer recognized for his role as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman.
Originally hailing from Leeds, England, Inglis embarked on a significant journey at the age of 14 when he moved to Australia with his family.
While Inglis was part of the Australian squad that clinched victory in the 2021 T20 World Cup, he did not get an opportunity to participate in any matches during the tournament. Nonetheless, he marked his international debut for the Australia cricket team in February 2022.

Joshua Patrick Inglis embarked on his first-class debut for Cricket Australia XI when they faced the West Indians during their tour of Australia in December 2015. His List A debut came while representing Cricket Australia XI against the Pakistanis during their tour of Australia in January 2017. In the world of Twenty20 cricket, Inglis made his debut for the Perth Scorchers during the 2017–18 Big Bash League season on December 23, 2017.
In a significant moment during the opening round of the 2020–21 Sheffield Shield season in October 2020, Inglis achieved a milestone by scoring his maiden first-class century, notching an impressive 153 not out against South Australia.

In March 2021, Inglis signed with Leicestershire County Cricket Club to participate in the 2021 T20 Blast tournament in England. He continued to make an impact with the bat, scoring his first century in a T20 match with an unbeaten 103 for Leicestershire in June 2021. He later secured his second T20 century against Worcestershire, amassing an unbeaten 118 from 61 balls.
August 2021 marked a significant moment in Inglis’s career as he was selected to represent Australia in the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, earning his maiden call-up to the national team. In February 2022, Inglis made his T20 International (T20I) debut for Australia against Sri Lanka.
Continuing his international journey, Inglis was named in Australia’s One Day International (ODI) squad for their tour of Pakistan in the same month. He made his ODI debut on June 24, 2022, representing Australia against Sri Lanka.
Josh Inglis is presently in a relationship with Megan Kincart. He frequently shares snapshots with Megan Kincart on his Instagram. Their son, Oscar, came into the world on June 29, 2023. Despite becoming parents, Inglis and Megan have chosen not to wed. They find contentment in their existing relationship status and believe that marriage won’t alter their happiness.
