According to the recent reports, Suryakumar Yadav is going to replace Shreyas Iyer in the upcoming Super Four clash against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023 at the R Premadasa Stadium on 10th September 2023.

The chief selectors of Board of Cricket Council of India announced a 15 man squad for the upcoming Cricket World Cup in India on 5th September 2023 and a lot of people were surprised after seeing Suryakumar Yadav’s name in the squad despite him struggling to make a name for himself in this format.

SKY has an average of just 24 in the ODIs and his inclusion in the Cricket World Cup squad has triggered a debate on the social media platforms.
