Kagiso Rabada keeps his love life private and it is not known whether he has a girlfriend or wife.

Rabada commenced his cricket journey with Gauteng in the CSA Provincial One-Day Competition, debuting against Border in December 2013.

He gained recognition as a rising talent when he represented South Africa’s Under-19 team in the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, emerging as their top bowler with the second-highest number of wickets in the tournament, showcasing an impressive economy rate. Notably, he achieved the best bowling figures of the competition, taking 6/25 against Australia A, earning him the reputation of “the fastest and most feared bowler in the competition.”

Rabada’s remarkable performances led to his inclusion in the Lions franchise for the final two matches of the Sunfoil Series season, where he secured 7 wickets.

In February 2015, Rabada set a record by taking 14 wickets in a match for Lions against Dolphins, including a stunning 9 wickets in the second innings. These figures stand as the best in the franchise era of South African cricket.

Taking his skills overseas, in February 2016, Rabada signed a short-term contract to play county cricket for Kent County Cricket Club during the English domestic season in June and July. This decision came at the expense of an IPL contract, as he sought valuable experience in English conditions. He participated in two County Championship and six T20 matches for Kent.

In the 2022 IPL mega auction, Rabada secured a contract with the Punjab Kings for ₹9.25 crore. In April 2023, he reached a significant milestone by claiming his 100th IPL wicket, making him the fastest bowler in terms of matches to achieve this feat in the competition.
