Karun Nair is an Indian cricketer born on 6 December 1991 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He is 33 years old and plays as a batsman. Karun is 5 feet 6 inches tall. He is married to Sanaya Tankariwala, and they have a son named Kayaan Nair. His father, Kaladharan Nair, and mother, Prema Nair, have always supported his cricket journey. In the IPL 2025 season, he will play for Delhi Capitals. His net worth is not available.

Karun Nair’s parents, Kaladharan Nair and Prema Nair, come from Chengannur in the Alappuzha district of Kerala. His father, a mechanical engineer, was stationed in Jodhpur when Karun was born. Later, the family relocated to Koramangala, Bangalore, where Kaladharan worked on the sprinkler system at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Prema Nair, Karun’s mother, is a teacher at Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Bangalore. He also has an elder sister named Shruthi Nair.

Karun was born prematurely, and doctors recommended that he take up sports to strengthen his weak lungs. Following this advice, he joined the Koramangala Cricket Academy on 28 March 2001, a year after moving to Bengaluru. He trained under coach Shivanand. He pursued a BCom (Hons) degree at Jain University in Bangalore.
