On April 6, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ninth match of the IPL 2023 at Eden Gardens. Royal Challengers Bangalore began their season with an eight-wicket victory over the five-time champions Mumbai Indians. RCB bowlers were dominant early on, but Mumbai Indians managed to post a difficult total of 171/7. However, openers Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis hit unbroken half-centuries to help RCB reach their mark with 22 balls to spare.
