Australian competitive swimmer Madison Maree Wilson, the girlfriend of Matthew Short, born on 31 May 1994, has showcased her prowess in backstroke and freestyle events on the global stage, competing at both the Olympic Games and the FINA World Championships. Wilson’s remarkable career includes being a vital member of six Australian relay teams that set world records, with her latest contribution occurring at the 2022 Short Course World Championships.
While originally born in the South West Queensland town of Roma, Madison Maree Wilson, Matthew Short girlfriend, spent her formative years in Yeppoon on the Capricorn Coast. During this time, she attended Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School and was an active member of the local swimming club, Yeppoon Sharks.
