The 20th match of IPL 2025 between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is scheduled to be played today, Monday, April 7, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match will start at 7:30 PM IST, with the toss taking place at 7:00 PM. One of the biggest questions on fans’ minds is—who will win tonight’s clash?

MI vs RCB – Head-to-Head Record

So far, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru have faced each other 33 times in IPL history. MI has won 19 of those encounters, while RCB has emerged victorious in 14 games. Clearly, Mumbai holds the upper hand in this rivalry.

Since today’s match is at Wankhede Stadium, the venue’s record plays an important role too. RCB last defeated MI at Wankhede in 2015. Since then, MI has beaten RCB six times in a row at this ground. Looking at this stat, Mumbai seems to have the edge in today’s game.

Points Table Situation – MI vs RCB

Led by Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians have had a rough start to the 2025 season. Out of their 4 matches, they have won only 1, which came against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede. They have lost to Chennai Super Kings, Gujarat Titans, and Lucknow Super Giants, and are currently placed 8th on the points table.

On the other hand, RCB has had a relatively better run. They have played 3 matches, winning 2, and currently sit at the third spot on the points table. If they manage to beat Mumbai today, they could move to the top position in the standings.
