Mitchell Swepson Career

Mitchell Swepson’s cricket journey unfolded as he entered the List A arena for Cricket Australia XI on October 5, 2015, during the 2015–16 Matador BBQs One-Day Cup. His first-class debut followed on October 29, 2015, in a tour match against the New Zealanders. The 2015–16 Big Bash League saw Swepson make his Twenty20 debut for the Brisbane Heat on January 10, 2016.

Noteworthy moments include his hat-trick during the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season match against Victoria in November 2019. Although selected for Australia’s Test squads in 2017, 2018, and 2019, Swepson had to wait until March 2022 to make his Test debut against Pakistan.

His international exposure expanded with appearances in Australia’s T20I squad and the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup-winning team.
