Punjab Kings to have a new home ground in IPL 2024

The recently constructed Mullanpur Stadium, under the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA), is poised to become the home ground for the Punjab Kings in the upcoming IPL 2024. Dilsher Khanna, the PCA Secretary, conveyed to a news agency that officials from Punjab Kings have already inspected the Mullanpur Stadium, indicating a high likelihood of hosting IPL 2024 matches at this venue.

Recent speculation surrounded the possibility of hosting the India versus Afghanistan T20I match at Mullanpur Stadium in January. However, the PCA Secretary clarified to News18 that pending work at the venue necessitated the relocation of the fixture to the PCA IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali.

The official Punjab Cricket Association’s account shared a video showcasing the progress of the newly constructed Mullanpur Stadium, affirming its readiness for IPL 2024.
