Najibullah Zadran, born on February 28, 1993, is a prominent Afghan cricketer and serves as the vice-captain of the Afghanistan Twenty20 International (T20I) team. Najibullah Zadran’s cricketing journey has taken him to various leagues and teams. In June 2018, he was selected to play for the Montreal Tigers in the inaugural Global T20 Canada tournament. This marked the beginning of his presence in international T20 competitions. In September 2018, he was named in Kandahar’s squad for the first edition of the Afghanistan Premier League tournament, showcasing his domestic cricket talent. The following month, Zadran’s skills led him to be included in the squad for the Chittagong Vikings team during the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League.
In June 2019, he continued to shine in T20 cricket by representing the Winnipeg Hawks franchise team in the 2019 Global T20 Canada tournament. This further solidified his reputation as a valuable T20 player. In November 2019, he was selected to play for the Khulna Tigers in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League, proving his prowess in various T20 leagues.
