Born on December 5, 1994, Nasum Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricketer representing Sylhet Division in domestic cricket. His international debut for the Bangladesh cricket team took place in March 2021.

Nasum Ahmed, born on December 5, 1994, hails from Jalalabad, Sylhet, and was born to Bengali Muslim parents. His family’s roots trace back to the village of Mardapur in Derai, Sunamganj District, where his grandfather migrated to Sylhet in 1958 from their ancestral home.
Nasum Ahmed is currently single and does not have a girlfriend or wife.
In November 2019, Nasum Ahmed was selected to represent the Chattogram Challengers in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.
His journey in international cricket began when he was named in Bangladesh’s Twenty20 International (T20I) squad for the series against Zimbabwe in March 2020. In January 2021, Nasum was among four uncapped players included in a preliminary squad for the One Day International (ODI) series against the West Indies. Furthermore, in February 2021, he earned a spot in Bangladesh’s squad for their series against New Zealand.

Nasum made his T20I debut for Bangladesh on March 28, 2021, in a match against New Zealand. His standout performance came on August 3, 2021, during a T20 match against Australia when he claimed 4 wickets while conceding only 19 runs, contributing significantly to Bangladesh’s historic victory over Australia in T20 cricket.
On September 8, 2021, Nasum starred once again in a T20 match against New Zealand, taking four wickets and conceding only 10 runs, helping Bangladesh secure their first-ever T20 series win against New Zealand. He was rightfully named the man of the match. Later in the same month, Nasum was named in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
The year 2022 brought more opportunities for Nasum as he was included in Bangladesh’s One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against Afghanistan in February. In March, he continued to impress, finding a place in the ODI squad for the series against South Africa. His international ODI debut occurred on July 10, 2022, when he represented Bangladesh against the West Indies.
