He made his first-class debut on April 29, 2019, representing Kabul Region in the 2019 Ahmad Shah Abdali 4-day Tournament. His introduction to first-class cricket marked a significant step in his cricketing career.

Noor Ahmad ventured into the fast-paced world of T20 cricket when he made his Twenty20 debut on October 8, 2019, for Mis Ainak Knights in the 2019 Shpageeza Cricket League.

In December 2019, he was selected to represent Afghanistan in the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, highlighting his potential on the international stage.

His talents extended to the 2020 Caribbean Premier League, where he was named in the St Lucia Zouks squad, adding to his experience in franchise T20 leagues.
